Maker40 is a 3D-printed keyboard designed by XTIA and HAO. We provide all the accessories required for PCB and structure, and provide product shell drawings. Players can print and assemble it by themselves, or make creative adjustments based on our design.

XTIA still hopes to create interesting and fun products. Coincidentally, when Bamboo lab rose last year, we were thinking about whether we could design a keyboard that can print most of the content, so that customers with printers can produce it at home, similar to the Tuozhu blind box. This can save a lot of machining costs and time, so that entry-level customers can quickly and at a low cost have a preliminary impression of customized keyboards.

 

So there is the current maker40.

 

Due to the size of Tuozhu and the accuracy limitations of the fdm printer, through testing, we believe that it is a better choice to start with a 40% layout, which can better print the complete positioning plate and the upper cover, so that the sound at the joint of the positioning plate will not be affected by assembly. The upper cover can also use the unique texture of the 3D printing hot bed to obtain a rich appearance.

The impact of the printed bottom surface texture on the appearance has been considered in the process. Choosing a good-looking printed bottom plate texture surface can optimize the appearance of the keyboard to the greatest extent.
