XPAD — Design, 3D Print, and Build Your Own Control Pad

XPAD is a modular RP2040-based platform for building custom macro pads, control panels, gaming inputs, and other physical controllers.

The idea is simple:

Design → Generate → 3D Print → Assemble → Program

Instead of redesigning the PCB and enclosure for every new layout, XPAD uses standardized hardware modules together with browser-based design tools and customizable 3D-printable enclosures.

You can combine mechanical switches, rotary encoders, Hall Effect inputs, and other modules to create a controller that fits your own workflow or project.

XPAD originally started as a personal learning project exploring embedded development, programming, modular hardware design, and parametric 3D modeling. After nearly a year of development, the hardware platform is now largely complete, while the software and online tools continue to evolve.
